Shop of the Week 2/15 - 2/21 Kabi Designs

The shop I'm featuring this week is Kobi Designs (http://www.etsy.com/shop/KabiDesigns) There is a lot of polymer clay stuff out there, but she does some really interesting things with it. Her art dolls are whimsical and beautifully crafted.

She also has jewelry ranging from simple earrings to gorgeous pendants with different image transfers. One of my favorites is her Lady Vintage pendant (photo 2)

One of my Faves - Studio Seventy Five

This is my first post highlighting my favorite shops on etsy!

I stumbled upon Studio Seventy Five while searching for lockets. This artist makes gorgeous vintage lockets with different works of art featured on them. You can tell this was done meticulously as the images appear to be painted on, rather than applied and sealed. Very original idea!!

When I first started on etsy, I listed things and let them be... no sales!! I've started promoting and since, I've gotten several sales and lots of treasuries! It takes time and effort, but I love my work enough to want to put it out there. Plus, in the meantime, I get to meet lots of great people, both buyers and sellers....

Site Starting to Sell

I'm starting to get a few sales on etsy. yay!! I sold two necklaces and a small gadget pouch. Not too bad. Made up for more than just fees. I'm out there promoting, promoting, promoting... and I actually seem to be increasing the traffic to my site.
Lately, I've been obsessed with vintage glass buttons and trying to figure out a way to incorporate them into my jewelry. I've made a pair of earrings and a necklace with them so far:
















I made a spring necklace for myself with a beautiful multi-colored button. I'll have to get some pics and list it soon.
